Prami, Chiropractic Assistant, Lower Hutt

Hello, I am Prami, short for Pramishka. I am a Sri Lankan who recently moved to Wellington to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Leadership & Management at Victoria University of Wellington.

I trained as a western medical doctor in China and then worked there and in Sri Lanka as a medical doctor. But then I learned about chiropractic 3 years ago when I met my very first chiropractor and decided I preferred working as a Chiropractic Assistant. Chiropractic is fairly new in Sri Lanka and I fell in love with it, mostly because I understood the logic behind it.

I am a very friendly and bubbly person, who loves helping people and learning something new everyday! Dogs are my favourite beings and I have three rottweilers back home in Sri Lanka. I love nature and New Zealand to me, is a beautiful country, quite like Sri Lanka.

I enjoy reading novels, watching tv shows & movies, listening to music(metal and rock music are favourites!) and hanging out with my friends when time permits it.

Chiropractic has helped me greatly, especially with a back pain with sciatica that I endured for 10 years. I would recommend it to anyone, as I have personal experience myself.
